General Information about Winter ‘20

A Few Exciting Highlights

Recycle Bin in Lightning

Yes, with the release of Winter ’20, users will now have access to a Recycle Bin in Lightning Experience. 😀👍😀

Surveys - Automate the survey process via Process Builder

Administrators, with Winter ’20, are now able to automate Surveys using an action in Process Builder. Another 👍.

Add Signatures to Emails

Email Templates have taken the jump this Winter with users being able to add their signature to an email as a Merge Field ({{{Sender.Signature}}}). The field is available wherever the merge field picker exists, including in emails, list emails, and enhanced letterheads.

Flows

In Spring ’19, Salesforce replaced Flow Designer with Flow Builder. The upgrade to Flow Builder will feel comfortable for users who’ve adopted Lightning Builder tools, in a declarative environment. With this Release, users will find an improved Flow Builders’ navigation (click and drag on the canvas), the ability to dynamically display elements within a screen based on other fields (reducing UI clicks), enhanced lists views (below image inserted), and scheduled auto launch Flows (goodbye, Apex).

Printable Views

Simple, easy, and needed. Printable Views give you your entire screen in hard copy.
